Red Hare handcrafted Prosecco is estate grown in the cool climate of the Macedon Ranges. Whole bunch pressing produces a delicate balance of fruit, light and crisp with a fresh clean finish on the palate. A true celebration of the traditional Italian Prosecco style.
Bright aromas of citrus and white stone fruit greet you on the nose, carrying on to the palate with more complex citrus. A powerful acid line sits comfortably with a rounded finish.
Estate grown in the cool climate of the Macedon Ranges, Red Hare handcrafted Pinot Grigio has aromatic pear, lemon zest, and honey dew melon notes. Driven by attractive textural elements the palate is bright and balanced, finishing with a refreshing acidity.
Beautiful bright ruby red in colour, with lovely aromatics, ripe cherry, plum, red currants and a hint of spice. The palate displays soft red fruits leading to a balanced finish with oak in the background, fine acidity and gentle tannins.
This Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir while still youthful, shows some maturity and class with a garnet colour. The palate has layers of cherry, sage and mushroom notes finishing with a fine tannin structure, giving the wine its excellent length and finesse.
Hand crafted and delicately blended from two small batch vineyards situated between Bendigo and Heathcote. This medium body shiraz of deep colour and character exudes raspberry, blackberry, clove and crushed herb notes. A generous palate envelopes the red and dark fruits with a soft finish.
Estate grown in the cool climate of the Macedon Ranges at 620m this partially barrel aged Pinot Gris has excellent balance, is rich, ripe and silky in texture. Well-structured and mouth-filling with luscious notes of peaches and pears with a hint of apple, orange blossom and cinnamon spice. This Pinot Gris block is a favourite of our Black Face Suffolk Sheep who graze and tend to the block throughout winter and early spring.
With a vibrant pink hue, strawberry, cherry and watermelon primary fruit flavours carried by lovely cool crisp acidity and a light fine touch of phenolics. A refined and savoury palate bottled without fining and minimal use of sulphur. Harvested in the cool of the morning to retain natural acidity and bright fresh fruit characters.
Classic Sangiovese characters are apparent with red and Morello cherry flavours, hints of spice with a savoury finish. Displays fine tannins on the long medium bodied palate. Hand harvested and fermented in traditional open vats, hand plunging utilised to submerge the cap of skins and gently extract flavours and phenolics.
